There is a huge difference between hustle and hectic. 😳 Hectic - full of incessant or frantic activity 🥳 Hustle - to work rapidly or with energy. 🎤 drop moment. 
Most people share with me that they are hustling due to too much to do, not enough time, and at the end of the day are not sure what they got done. I have been there. 
I thought I was hustling too - juggling being a CEO of my heath and wellness business, yoga and fitness professional, coach, and toddler mom, but for a long time I was really just hectic. 😅

The biggest difference in making this switch is the purpose and direction of your energy. 
That is why I love this definition of hustle. It reminds me of what it takes to be a mama. What it takes to be a leader. What it takes to fully show up for your life. 
It takes grit, dedication, and hustle!!!!! I feel grateful to be a boss mama with access to tools I need to stay energized, nourished, and present so I wanted to share some with you! 
Tips to shift from hectic to hustle: 🤜 Be in service to others. Focus on how you can help people
🤜 Take a friend audit. Focus on making friends and building a  community of like minded people (in your mom group, take up a hobby, surround yourself around people that lift you up). 🤜 Eliminate Distractions - turn off notifications on your phone. Unsubscribe to the emails you don’t need to be getting. Step away from the TV. Do what it takes to decrease common distractions 🤜 Get focused on your goals - take steps each day towards your big picture visions. The world steps aside for a person that knows where they’re going. 🤜 Focus on personal growth - this is key. Change your mindset about something and it changes everything. 🤜 Nourish Yourself! Self Care is key. Drink more water. Eat more plants. Take an uninterrupted bath. Go to yoga. Get outside. Treat yourself to a massage. A sourced life is a happy life. 🤜 Make space in your life to play - this is a key. Once to twice a week, set everything else aside and do something(s) that make your smile and laugh 🤜 Keep going and know what you’re going for. This is essential in hustling. 
Focus. Fun. Energy. Repeat.

Child's Pose and Savasana are not modifications.

If a student is having a hard time give them a modification! Show them how to use a block or strap to assist them in the pose. Give them a different option that uses the same muscle groups.  Or a less challenging inversion.

Better yet, think about and include modifications when you create your sequences. Teach them to everyone and let the students decide what works for their own body.

It's so disheartening to attend a class and see other folx struggle and follow my mods because the teacher isn't providing any. I am so grateful for my @bopoyoga and @dearyoga_ for providing an amazing environment that is so accessible to so many.

And a huge thank you to @diannebondyyoga for her book Yoga for Everyone . It has provided me with a great toolbox of mods so I feel confident walking into any yoga class.

Un buen yogui come para nutrir su cuerpo y su alma, no para envenenarlos, y nunca come en exceso ni se mata de hambre. Lo que comes pasa a formar parte de ti, se transforma en ti, así que tú decides en qué te quieres convertir.
.
Mi alimentación en los dos últimos años había empeorado mucho, por falta de tiempo y ganas, y como consecuencia, me sentía hinchada, pesada y aletargada. Hace ya casi 3 meses decidí hacer un cambio radical en mi alimentación y dejé de tomar ultraprocesados, porquerías varias y reducir la ingesta excesiva de azúcares, de quesos, de harinas y gluten (y digo reducir gluten, no eliminarlo, porque no soy intolerante y no tengo necesidad de quitarlo totalmente). Incrementé la cantidad de fruta y verdura fresca, legumbres, cereales integrales, frutos secos y la frecuencia de las comidas. El resultado no se hizo esperar: más vitalidad, mejora en la concentración, mejor descanso, mejor estado de ánimo, piel más sana e hidratada, menos hinchazón y, sorpresa, 4 kgs menos. Esto último no era el objetivo principal, y tampoco creía que estuviera gorda o me sobrara peso, pero ha sido una de las consecuencias inevitables de dejar de comer mierda. Y recalco que ha sido consecuencia de no comer mierda, NO de dejar de comer, comer menos o pasar hambre. Como incluso más que antes, pero mucho mejor.

A la vez que cambiaba de alimentación, me pasé el verano haciendo la primera serie de ashtanga casi a diario como forma de desintoxicación del organismo. La combinación de las dos cosas ha llevado mi práctica a un nivel totalmente inesperado: ahora siento que vuelo, me siento fuerte, ágil y flexible y he conseguido hacer posturas que hasta ahora creía imposibles para mí, además de sentir mi mente mucho más centrada y calmada durante la meditación.

Jamás deberíamos subestimar el poder de una buena alimentación y los hábitos saludables. Tenemos muchísimo que ganar y muy poco que perder.

Hace ya casi 3 meses decidí hacer un cambio radical en mi alimentación y dejé de tomar ultraprocesados, porquerías varias y reducir la ingesta excesiva de azúcares, de quesos, de harinas y gluten (y digo reducir gluten, no eliminarlo, porque no soy intolerante y no tengo necesidad de quitarlo totalmente). Incrementé la cantidad de fruta y verdura fresca, legumbres, cereales integrales, frutos secos y la frecuencia de las comidas. El resultado no se hizo esperar: más vitalidad, mejora en la concentración, mejor descanso, mejor estado de ánimo, piel más sana e hidratada, menos hinchazón y, sorpresa, 4 kgs menos. Esto último no era el objetivo principal, y tampoco creía que estuviera gorda o me sobrara peso, pero ha sido una de las consecuencias inevitables de dejar de comer mierda. Y recalco que ha sido consecuencia de no comer mierda, NO de dejar de comer, comer menos o pasar hambre. Como incluso más que antes, pero mucho mejor.

A la vez que cambiaba de alimentación, me pasé el verano haciendo la primera serie de ashtanga casi a diario como forma de desintoxicación del organismo. La combinación de las dos cosas ha llevado mi práctica a un nivel totalmente inesperado: ahora siento que vuelo, me siento fuerte, ágil y flexible y he conseguido hacer posturas que hasta ahora creía imposibles para mí, además de sentir mi mente mucho más centrada y calmada durante la meditación.

Jamás deberíamos subestimar el poder de una buena alimentación y los hábitos saludables. Tenemos muchísimo que ganar y muy poco que perder.
