This is far from healthy but I couldn't tell my mother-in-law no I won't make you strawberry flan. So of course I had to make it for her.  As you can see we had a taste not the whole cake.  Living a healthier lifestyle doesn't mean you can never have cake, ice cream or cookies it just means you will consume in moderation things that should not be eaten in large amounts.

Did some double duty cooking this evening! Made some egg bites for supper with some leftovers for breakfasts. 💕 ✅ We used eggs, some cheese, sausage, and yellow/green/red peppers. Bake for 13 minutes at 400 degrees! 🙌🏻 🥚 Even made a couple with just eggs and cheese for my crazy picky children. 🤪

I finally got my cyst removed from my wrist, and let me tell you, using only my left hand for everything is difficult. I miss being able to use both hands but I'm so grateful to finally have my cyst gone. I still have a little bit of recovery before I can hoop again, but I'm just glad the worst is over #stayhealthymyfriends

Combate la Gastritis
.
Si eres de los que a diario tratas de manejar los problemas estomacales y piensas que un antiácido o una Prevacid son la solución.
Lamento decirte que solo estas tratando los síntomas. Escuchamos a diario que con un medicamento puedes mejorar la acidez estomacal, las diarreas o el reflujo sin dejar de comer los alimentos que te gustan. Pero, si no haces cambios en tu alimentación podrás combatir los síntomas pero no la condición.
.
Tomar un medicamento para el estómago te ayudará por un tiempo con los síntomas, pero no te hará inmune en un futuro esa gastritis empeore.
.
Comienza a realizar cambios:
.
• Consume mas viandas, verduras y lentejas
• Elije carnes, pollos y pescados bajos en grasa
• Aléjate de los alimentos fritos
• Sustituya la leche entera por baja en grasa
• Consuma panes, arroces, pastas y cereales integrales
• Incluya mas frutos secos en su día (pasas, nueces, almendras)
• Limita el consumo de alimentos preparados con salsa de tomate (pizza, lasaña, pastas)
• Toma mucho agua
• Si va a comer ensaladas utilice aderezos bajos en grasa y limítese a una cucharadita
• Incluye frutas en tu rutina diaria
• Coma relajado y sin estrés
• Cocine bien los alimentos, evite comerlos crudos
• Limite el consumo de chocolate y café
• Cuidado con los frutas y jugos cítricos (china, toronja, piña, limón)
• Evita el pique y alimentos muy condimentados
• Elimine los dulces de repostería, mantecados o panes blancos
• OJO, cuidado con el uso de productos “naturales” sin antes consultarlo con tu Médico y/o Nutricionista
• Los mas importante aprenda a conocerse, si hay algún alimento que le provoque malestar, nauseas, vómitos, gases o diarreas elimínelo por un tiempo a lo que su estómago mejora

Yes that’s suppose to be a knee... 7 days post-op and this pain is beyond ridiculous! This is the second time I’ve had to completely replace my ACL, MCL, LCL & PCL. Guess the first cadaver was a little worn out... hoping I got better luck this time around. This is the 7th surgery on this leg. ATV accident, then Motorcycle accident and this time hiking, canyoning & jumping into the water in Croatia. Don’t even have super cool stories - they were all just freak accidents. 3 different docs told me how proud they were I haven’t given up on enjoying life and how they will have me put back together in time for ski season. So blessed for all my family and friends help ❤️ I’m going to be in need of a huge celebration when I can walk without crutches. #stayhealthymyfriends

Well that wasn’t near as bad as I thought it was going to be. But it helps to be watching a Lifetime movie while I do long runs 😂 🏃🏻‍♀️ I was basically supporting the main character. She ran from her psycho obsessive neighbor who “can’t live without her” and I ran on the treadmill in support. 😆 We both managed to walk away unscathed. 😉

I baked the covered filets on 350* for 35 minutes along with a separate tray of garlic asparagus.
