Carrot 🥕 and cinnamon soup 🥣 
Serves 4:
-750g carrot cubes,
- 1 large potato 🥔 cleaned, peeled and diced, - 500ml vegetable stock (I use fresh stock from @spinneysdubai ),
- 1 tsp chopped ginger, - 10g cinnamon powder,
- 250ml unsweetened 🍊 juice 🥤 (I use fresh @barakatme juice),
- 15g coriander leaves. 
Preparation method:
1) Heat a saucepan and lightly sauté the vegetables with a little bit of vegetable stock.
2) Then add the ginger, cinnamon, orange juice and 15g chopped coriander and sauté. Once the vegetables begin to soften add the remaining vegetable stock and bring to a boil, cover and let simmer for 20 mins or until the vegetables are soft. 
3) when the vegetables are soft take off the heat and let it rest for 15 mins to cool. 
4) Once cool, pour the soup into a blender and blend until it forms a smooth purée. 
5) When you are ready to serve, heat the soup and serve into your bowls and garnish with the remaining coriander leaves. 
Nutritional information per portion:
Total calories: 140 kcal,
Protein: 6g,
Fat: 2g,
Carbohydrates: 25g.

The fourth week in January- this is when things are starting to get tough .

You’re getting bored of the diet .

Bored of not having a social life .

And its about to get tougher- everyone finishes Dry January next week, and pay day is approaching .

You don’t want to say no to all the plans .

But you also want to stay on track .

So , WILL you stay on track? This depends on two things .  The first, is a split second judgement-at this moment in time, do I want my goal more than I want the meal out/night out/chocolate/guilty pleasure of choice? .

Have you even spent half an hour of your time, figuring out what weight or size you want to be, or how how want to look , and WHY? WHY is this important? WHY it improve your life? WHY it will make you feel better? WHY do I want it more than I want the meal out/night out/chocolate/guilty pleasure of choice? .

And If you won’t set aside half an hour of your time, I hate to say it ,but you really need to have a serious think about your commitment levels. .

And number two, is it sustainable- can I still enjoy my life, have foods I enjoy in moderation ( and feel happy and confident doing that)? Can I make quick food decisions and not worry that I got the “ wrong thing”? OR have you got caught up in the latest diet promising you can lose 3 stone in two months, or  have you gone into complete panic because you entered 2020 unhappier with your body than ever before? .

This might not be the right diet for you, but what one is? Be constructive- why are you struggling? What areas in your life make it hard to stay on track? Is it a will power issue? Or a confidence problem?
