Throughout the course of this journey, yes I have seen physical transformation. I stand a little taller, and worry a little less. I have more flexibility, more energy, endurance, and stamina. I have gotten to the point where nearly everything I own is a little big and each day I have a win that I find in my day that was a little easier, or less of struggle then I had it before. •
All of these things are great, but the true transformation has been in my mindset. Do you ever get in the middle of the worship pit or in your car to that worship song that gets you in your feels and your singing with your whole soul, not caring what the people in the other lane will think? Do you worship so hard, you like know sweat is dripping and your heart is racing? I have grown in my fitness to see it as an act of worship my friends. I am so thankful everyday for my body and the ability it has. I workout as an act of worship to tell God thank you for giving me this body with so much ability and giving me the responsibility to take care of it. We know that as His people we are asked to love others, not lie or steal, to be good stewards of our money, but we are also asked to steward our health. We are asked to use gracious words, uplifting affirmations for ourselves because it is health to the body. •
Yes, I feel confident in my clothes, but I know now more than ever •
I am LOVED
I am WORTHY
I am CAPABLE
I am CENTERED •
I have the ability to move my body, so I will do just that everyday as an act of worship to say thank you for my health, and be a good steward of the life I was given. •

Had an absolutely incredible lunch with mom today at @liberated_baking 😍 Their gluten free “turkey favorite” was so much better than a lot of regular sandwiches I’ve ever had (as you can see, I was so excited to try it that I couldn’t even wait until after the pic lol). Also, their clam chowder, hazelnut mocha, and pumpkin spice white chocolate mocha are all amazing. Tonight I reached a weight loss of 50lbs. The 50lbs lost seems small compared to the mental health strength that I have gained.
I’ve struggled with the loss of my 1st born, an undiagnosed autoimmune disease, 2 C-Sections, and all of the mental and physical health problems that came from it all. This year i seemed to hit my stride with figuring out what my body needed and what my head needed too. I’m so lucky to have had Chris help me with everything and love me no matter where I was. My families support. And two incredible doctors that really really took care of me.
I’m wearing my ski suit in the picture, because I was so surprised and excited when it zipped right up when I put it on! I swear I wore the outfit around the house for an hour!! 😂. My parents bought it for me for my first ski season when I was 18. I haven’t been this size since.

I used to think carbs were bad and I was bad for wanting them... I was hungry AF all the time and then i‘d be ashamed of it so then i‘d reach for a coffee or a protein shake or later a tbsp of coconut oil to just feel okish... and so my body deteriorated... it was so frustrating and I felt so frustrated for many years because when you are living hungry, life isn’t fun. It’s even less fun when you feel shame for your hunger. Today I eat all the good carbs i want, i am mostly raw but not fully and I am always deeply satisfied. I cannot tell you what that has done and is still doing to my nervous system! Giving myself permission to be nourished with all the good foods has changed my life... now I can finally attend to being creative! I did not come here to be food obsessed or even health obsessed! This is just break-fast... high sugar diets keep the cells fueled with their perfect fuel! Add minerals because our souls are so depleted... add green juices/powders for extra minerals and to push out toxins from the body...add loads of sunshine on your naked body, add swims in nature, add living only your highest dream, add resolving your trauma, add loving hard all that gives you joy, add elevating others, keep your fats low and your protein low... you’ll be getting enough amino acids from your fruit and greens, EAT ENOUGH, especially once you’ve healed your body! And PLEASE get of coffee! It is a poison and I personally will not work with you if you don’t give it up... why? Because there is no true healing whilst you are in it. It’s a long discussion and I know many look like they have healed whilst in it but let me tell you, they will only have masked the problem.
I eat very differently now to when I was healing!
I still detox monthly and yearly, but I am not in break down mode, I am building and maintaining.

Attention anyone with gut issues or who has been diagnosed with IBS (irritable bowel syndrome)
After a busy week in clinic this week it continues to surprise me how often people are told they have IBS and that they just need to “manage their symptoms” as best they can.
What you need to know is that IBS is a DESCRIPTION of how you’re feeling, it is NOT a diagnosis.
You are not stuck with an irritable gut but you do need to find out WHY. My job when people come to me with gut issues is to find out why your gut is irritated in the first place and treat that.
In my experience the three most common reasons are SIBO (a type of bacterial overgrowth), parasite(s) or candida/yeast overgrowth, or just really imbalanced gut flora.
All of the above need to be addressed ASAP because having these things impacts your mood, skin, weight, period, fertility, sleep, energy, immune system and ability to detox. The sooner you treat, the easier it is to recover.
It sucks feeling bloated and can seriously affect your confidence, mood and happiness, right?
It can be tempting to just buy a product that says “helps with IBS” but my strong recommendation is to invest in seeing a practitioner who can thoroughly assess and test you to find out what’s going on for YOU.
