Shakshuka is a rich tomato warm spiced sauce with eggs.
There is nothing extraordinary or complicated with this recipe. It’s straightforward and tastes amazing.

The recipe can serve 2 or 1 hungry person. Additionally, the recipe could include cheese such as feta on top or use sourdough to mop up the juices.

What you’ll need:
• 4 cups chopped tomatoes
• 1 tsp ghee
• 1/2 white onion - finely chopped
• 1 garlic clove - chopped
• 6 pasture raised eggs
• 1 red bell pepper - diced
• 1 tsp smoked paprika
• 1/2 tsp cumin
• 1/2 tsp chilli powder
——
Recipe:
1. Using a wide saucepan on medium heat.
2. Add the ghee to the pan. Add the onion. Cook until slightly transparent then add the garlic.
3. Cook for a few minutes.
4. Next add the red bell pepper. Cook for 5 minutes until softened.
5. Add the spices. Cook for 1 minute then add the tomatoes.
6. Cook the tomatoes down for 5-10 minutes on a low heat.
7. Next, make 6 dips / holes in the sauce.
8. Then crack the eggs into the holes.
9. Cover the pan or put pan in oven. Cook for 5-10 minutes until eggs are set.
10. Remove from pan. Garnish with parsley or coriander, season with salt.

An AUST L is a unique number located on the product label (eg. Aust L 317880), that is provided by the Australian Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). The TGA is the chief Australian regulatory body for therapeutic goods, including prescription medications and nutraceutical supplements. The presence of a unique AUST L on the product means that the product you have purchased is listed with the TGA.

Its significance? Huge! It offers greater assurance to the quality, safety and health claim efficacy of the product.

As a TGA listed product (AUST L) it can ONLY be produced in a TGA audited facility. These facilities and their manufacturing standards are held to a higher level of scrutiny than non-TGA licensed facilities, meaning greater confidence in the quality and safety of the product.

The TGA also stipulate what ingredients and health claims are permitted for use in listed medicines, and legally require the brand owner to hold clinical evidence to support their promoted health claims. This protects consumers from potentially dangerous ingredients, perhaps sold or produced in less regulated countries, while also protecting against miracle cure claims.

If your nutraceutical supplement doesn't have an AUST L it can mean one of a few things:

1. The product has been purchased and imported from overseas. While there are great products in overseas markets, there are also many hidden dangers around safety and quality, especially where regulatory standards are more relaxed.

2. The product falls under a different category and is exempt. This would most commonly be the food codes (FSANZ) - such as sports supplements.

3. The brand is taking shortcuts to avoid the added costs, quality and efficacy scrutiny associated with producing a listed TGA product (AUST L). Often this is done through abusing the regulatory system and selling under the Food Code. However, this is ILLEGAL. 60 days!  I made some adjustments. I didn’t do a crazy diet. I didn’t cut out food groups.  We can complicate things. I def did for many months and hit  a plateau. But I finically broke through that  and here’s  what  I have done to pivot towards my goals.⠀

For those that don't know, 3 years ago I became ridden with chronic pain. I have been to more doctors than you could even imagine and spent thousands upon thousands of dollars to try to figure out what is the cause. Here I am 3 years later with a tiny bit more clarity, but no diagnosis. 
I see a functional specialist who half the time ticks me off and the other half he makes total sense. He says I have #marcons , which is a antibiotic resistant staph infection located in my nasal cavity. This apparently causes an extreme amount of inflammation in my body which leads to the pain & discomfort. 
Most of my pain/discomfort lies in my feet. More recently, my hands. It's hard and it's depressing, but I am a positive person and I power through every single day. I used to not be able to get out of bed and now I'm working almost full time at a job I love with people who give a damn, I'm engaged and completely focused on creating a wonderful life with my fiance, and I'm doing everything I can to enjoy life.
I have my days, more recently I've had a lot more, that knock me down. I have to remember to keep pushing but, also let my ass sleep for 12 hours at a time! .

Most of my pain/discomfort lies in my feet. More recently, my hands. It's hard and it's depressing, but I am a positive person and I power through every single day. I used to not be able to get out of bed and now I'm working almost full time at a job I love with people who give a damn, I'm engaged and completely focused on creating a wonderful life with my fiance, and I'm doing everything I can to enjoy life.
I have my days, more recently I've had a lot more, that knock me down. I have to remember to keep pushing but, also let my ass sleep for 12 hours at a time! .
