'We are what we do repeatedly.
Excellence therefore isn't an act, but a habit.' - Aristotle
I came across this 4 years ago and it did not make sense at all!
In the present moment, it made sense.
Yes, I'm a damn freaking slow learner, unguided and filled with insecurities.
But here's what I learnt most out of these 4 years.
Just follow the programme and move forward in a routine-like-manner.
I've learnt not to be perfect but I've learnt to just embrace a daily progression.
What I've seen for the past 4 years... I've came across various idols.
Various idols that I've now somewhat 'feel' on par.
My only way to proceed is to find a new idol each time I stagnate.
On my end, I can only accept that people that come for practice will soon leave me because I can only get them to their goals and they've surpass me in someway or another.
Goals are ever changing and when they set a new one, I know I can no longer be of help, I can only be of service to a certain extent, this is where I apply 'non-attachment', letting go and flush them out to the world to explore.
Yes, it's the toughest bs to do but personally, I I feel guilty if I hold them back to stagnation. I am just happy to be part of their path.
For the future, present and past practitioners alongside with me on the practice space, thank you for your support and trust.
I wish you nothing but that moment of glory to achieve that goal we've discussed about.
