Black coffee organic coffee with Ceylon cinnamon, 1 cardamom pod, nutmeg, organic coconut cream and a tsp of #organic raw local honey. 
Cardamom reduces the effects of caffeine, warming, and digestive. 
Cinnamon is tri-doshic, meaning all three dosha types benefit from cinnamon. Pittas though should avoid this spice during the summer season. 
Honey offers qualities of drying, hearing and scraping...very good for us Kapha’s 😉

Nutmeg is an aphrodisiac and provides increase heating in the body. This is a very good spice for vata’s and kapha’s

Everyone just loved this crispy and soft bhajiyas with hot chai in the evening! Perfect balance of mild bitterness from Fenugreek, herbal kind of flavour from moringa, heat from the spices and comfort from the besan and rice flour adding the extra crispness! 😁

Fiz esta delícia do chef Ayurveda Nicky Sitaram:
bolinhas de côco, manga e pistache: .
80-100g farinha de côco/raspinhas. 200g creme de soja ou amendoas ou aveia. 100g purê de manga. 2 col chá de amendoas raladas . 1/2 col chá de cardamomo ralado. gotas de agua de rosas. 2 col de pistache ralado para envolver as bolinhas.  dourar o côco na feigideira sem óleo( seco) . misturar todos os ingredientes em uma panela a fogo médio- baixo. esquentar por uns minutos até que fique denso/ encorpado. se necessario , acrescente mais côco ralado( ou farinha de côco) . tirar do fogo e esperar esfriar uns 5-10 min. fazer bolinhas e envolver com pistache

Heute habe ich nochmal ein leckeres Rezept aus Trauben für Dich:
🍇 350 g Trauben🍇 1El Ghee oder Kokosöl
🍇 1 rote Zwiebel
🍇 1El gehackter frischer Ingwer
🍇 2 Zweige Rosmarin 🍇 1/2 El Vollrohrzucker 🍇 1 Spritzer Zitrone 🍋 🍇 Salz
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ich habe den Ingwer und die gehackte Zwiebel in Ghee angedünstet und dann die Trauben, den Zucker und die gehackten Rosmarinnadeln dazu gegeben. Alles aufkochen lassen. Weil die Trauben sehr viel Wasser enthalten, habe ich das Gsnze ca. eine halbe Stunde bei mittlerer Hitze ohne Deckel köcheln lassen, bis eine marmreladenartige Konsistenz entstanden ist. Achtung, das geht zum Ende hin sehr schnell!
Dann noch mit Zitrone und Salz abgeschmeckt. Super lecker 😋 
Ein Chutney ist ein Dip oder eine Art Soße. Typischerweise enthält er alle 6 Geschmacksrichtungen. ImAyurveda wollen wir diese optimaler Weise alle in einer Mahlzeit haben. Das kannst Du also mit einem Chutney ganz einfach machen. 
Wir haben es zu Ofengemüse gegessen.

Ayurveda considers a seasonal routine an important cornerstone of health year around. Balancing the nature of your local climate with lifestyle choices that offset the potential for seasonally-induced imbalances is one of the simplest ways that you can protect your well-being! "Vata" season, or Autumn, requires more substantive and nourishing foods that are high in protein, high in fat, and brought to life with warming, stimulating spices, and served hot - all of which will go a long way toward maintaining your internal reserves of moisture and keeping you grounded through season. 
Breakfast of cooked grains—like oatmeal, quinoa, millet, etc are perfect at this time of year. Lunches and dinners that include steamed vegetables, hearty grains, soups, and stews are grounding and moisturizing. If you eat meat and eggs, this is one of the best times of year to enjoy them. In general, you’ll want to reduce your consumption of raw vegetables, cold and frozen foods, as well as the bitter, pungent, and astringent tastes. It’s best to minimize light, cooling, and drying foods like broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, sprouts, leafy greens, white potatoes, beans, popcorn, crackers, millet, and dried fruit.

You may find that, during the course of the fall, you’ll naturally want to increase your intake of food. Vata requires adequate nourishment so it is best to avoid fasting. ALL of this information of course should be highly individualized to YOU - as if you are a kapha dosha like myself, you still need to keep things on the lighter side.

Zum Wochenende gibt es einen Ayurveda-Tipp für die pitta-gestressten Bäuchlein unter uns: ✨Safran-Kartoffelpüree mit Mung-Dal und Pfannengemüse✨

Hierzu werden mehligkochende Kartöffelchen zusammen mit dem Mung Dal und ein paar Safranfäden ca. 20min weichgekocht. Anschließend gestampft und wahlweise mit Ghee oder Rapsöl und einer Prise Asafoetida glattgerührt.

The coolness in the morning air is getting me very excited about the fun of Fall cooking. When I think of cooking in the fall the very first food that comes to mind is Butternut squash. YUM! ⠀⠀
You can stuff them, make them into a delicious soup, use them risotto (wait for the October recipe!), roast them, use them to make ravioli or gnocchi. ⠀⠀
The possibilities are endless and the health benefits are many. This pear-shaped beauty is high in vitamins A benefiting hair, skin, and eyesight. Vitamin C works as a potent antioxidant in your body, protecting your cells from damage caused by unstable molecules called free radicals.
⠀⠀
Vitamin E is another antioxidant in butternut squash that helps protect against free radical damage and may reduce your risk of age-related conditions, such as Alzheimer’s disease. It also has a good amount of potassium which can have a positive effect on blood pressure. ⠀⠀
Butternut squash has about 17% of your daily requirement of manganese and can help your body maintain healthy bone structure, calcium absorption, and improve the mineral density of the spinal column. ⠀⠀
Other minerals found in squash, such as iron, folate, and zinc, all contribute to bone health and protect against osteoporosis. ⠀⠀
This squash is wonderfully grounding right when vata can begin to easily go out of balance. ⠀⠀
